The Orchard

The BarnYard sits in 150 acres of Kent countryside, and this collection is the ground itself: apple and pear orchards planted in long rows, aerial views of the venue set in its fields, and couples out among the trees at golden hour. Spring brings the blossom, late summer leaves the branches heavy with fruit, and the light out here does half a photographer's job for them.

For couples, the orchard is usually where the portrait photos happen. It is a short wander from the Arboretum and the Courtyard, so slipping away between the ceremony and the wedding breakfast takes minutes rather than a car journey. Guests get the benefit too. The whole venue sits in the middle of it, with space to stretch your legs whenever the day allows.
