Four private spaces mean an intimate lunch for two dozen works here just as well as a 300-guest party under the chandeliers, and because our restaurant team cooks everything on site, the food is one thing you will never have to chase. Not every birthday needs a DJ. For a quieter milestone, a Special High Tea in the Mezzanine or the Roost is a lovely way to do it, and everyone home in time for the evening.
Everything is cooked and prepared here by our restaurant team, the same kitchen that runs our restaurant Wednesday to Sunday. No outside caterers to find, no van arriving late.
For an evening party, buffets, BBQs and grazing spreads that keep people near the dancefloor rather than pinned to a seating plan. Hearty, generous and served when your party needs it.
For a sit-down birthday, a proper meal at proper tables, from one long dinner table in the Roost to a full sit-down dinner in the Arboretum, with speeches and toasts between courses if you want them.
For a daytime do, our Special High Tea, finger sandwiches, scones with clotted cream and jam, and homemade cakes, or a lighter afternoon spread. Lovely in the Mezzanine or out in the Courtyard.
Tell us the shape of your party and we will suggest the menu to match, and the bar looks after the rest: beers, wines, cocktails and spirits, run as an open bar, a pay bar or a drinks package, with last orders at 11:30pm.

Framed by our original barns sits the festoon-lit Courtyard, an enclosed sun-trap that becomes the heart of most parties: drinks before dinner, fresh air between dances, and the photos everyone actually keeps. Around it all, 150 acres of orchards.
We are on Oak Lane in Upchurch, between Rainham and Sittingbourne, with free on-site parking for every guest, so nobody circles a car park in their party shoes.
If the toasts are flowing, we also keep a list of local taxi companies and hotels who know the venue well.
I celebrated my 50th birthday in the Arboretum and it could not have been a more perfect setting. The venue is absolutely stunning, with the orchards providing a beautiful backdrop. Tscharna, Harry, Archie and the whole team were incredibly helpful, keeping everything running smoothly. The food was excellent and my guests thoroughly enjoyed it.

As a rule of thumb: the Mezzanine takes up to 24 guests, the Roost up to 50, the Apple Barn up to 180 and the Arboretum up to 300. If you are between sizes, tell us your rough numbers and we will talk you through both options, and you are always welcome to come and see the spaces first.
Our own restaurant team cooks everything on site, from grazing boards and buffets to BBQs and full sit-down meals. There are no outside caterers to arrange. Tell us the shape of your party and we will suggest menus to match, and we are always happy to tailor things around dietary requirements.
Yes. There is space for a DJ or a band, a proper dancefloor, and a stocked bar with beers, wines, cocktails and spirits, run as an open bar, a pay bar or a drinks package. Music and the bar run til 11:30pm as standard, and if you want to keep the party going, a late bar extension is available at £550 for an extra hour, arranged in advance.
You are welcome to. Each area is private, so you can dress it your way, and with fairy lights already overhead you may find half the work is done. Banners, balloons and table styling are all easy to bring in, just let the events team know what you are planning.
Yes, free on-site parking for you and every one of your guests. No permits, no fees and no street parking to hunt for.
