October half term is the perfect excuse to get everyone out of the house. Wrap up warm, wander the apple and pear orchards and let the kids burn off some energy in 150 acres of Kent countryside before pulling up a chair for tea.

Our kitchen loves a theme. The Halloween High Tea swaps the usual spread for Screeching Sandwiches, a BOO Beef Slider, Ghostly Meringues and Spine-Chilling Scones finished with popping candy. Vegetarian and vegan options are on the menu too, so the whole table is sorted.
