The BarnYard offers a calm, private and welcoming setting for wakes, memorials and celebrations of life, held in the cosy Roost or the rustic Apple Barn and its Courtyard, wrapped in 150 acres of quiet Kent orchard. We take care of the catering, the setup and the timings with warmth and discretion, so your family can simply be together.

The Roost holds up to 50 guests, and the Apple Barn with its Courtyard holds up to 180. Tell us roughly how many you expect and we will suggest the room that fits.

Whichever room you choose is yours alone for the day, with the Courtyard, the gardens and the quiet of the orchards to step out into when you need a moment.
Catering by our own kitchen
A buffet-style spread of sandwiches and cakes, or a warm sit-down meal if you would rather. Everything is prepared on site by our own team, and we will talk the choices through with you gently.
Free parking on site
There is free parking on site for every guest, just off the M2, so it is an easy place for family to reach from across Kent.
Short notice, handled with care
Wakes are often arranged at short notice, and we are used to that. Call us with the date you are working towards and we will do all we can to make it work, without any fuss.
